Dick
provided a link to a search site that could be used to find other
photo posting sites on the Internet that could be used in the same way
that was discussed for Ofoto in the previous session. A class
discussion covered illustrations of various ways that promotional
postings might be made on both photo sites and on eBay.
Dick showed his record of "useful links" that he
maintains in Excel and that is available to class participants.
We also reviewed the web page where
class schedule information
is maintained, and the additional pages where a
history of class topics is kept.
This current page reflects notes pertaining to each class and provides
an overview and information that might not have been in the prepared
notes for the class.

Brian
Nelson presented an approach to utilizing eBay to enhance your
marketing for your retail site. eBay listings are indexed by the
search engines and can lead traffic to your site. This is
another valuable way to get your message out on the Internet!
Among other concepts that he discussed was the idea
of posting photos of your products to free photography sites that
allow you to enter photo captions for the photos. These sites
are being indexed by the search engines (at least, by Google) and
provide an opportunity for you to capture traffic on additional
keywords.
